SubmarineChannel:创意动漫频道是一个通过讲故事的创意动漫模式来阐述有趣的新鲜内容，该工作室利用新技术创作包括漫画、网络游戏、网络纪录片、视频肖像等创意视频资源。

SubmarineChannel网站是由Bruno Felix 和 Femke Wolting于2000年创办，由于近年来的快速数字化媒体的发展，给了他们发展机会，通过跨媒体、交互式的故事来表达各种想法和社会现象，为用户来带来了与众不同的视觉效果。

From studios in Amsterdam and L.A, Submarine Channel creates fresh content that exploits new technologies to tell stories in visually exciting, multiple format-friendly ways – including motion comics, online games, web documentaries, and video portraits about pioneering creatives from all over the world. The popular website SubmarineChannel.com streams authored content as well as the best in next-gen cinema by peer creators, attracting a global following of creative professionals across the spectrum.

Submarine Channel is part of the multiple award-winning production outfit Submarine, founded by 2000 by Bruno Felix and Femke Wolting, both pioneers in the Dutch (new) media world. Read their bios and those of the rest of the team here.

In light of the rapid digitization of media in recent years, much rhetoric around developments in new media, transmedia, and interactive storytelling has brought forth over-arching questions around the possibilities and limitations of these new formats.

To these ends, it is the goal of Submarine Channel to create visually-led transmedia projects that explore the possibilities of these new storytelling techniques, researching the parameters of emerging genres such as non-linear film, interactive animation, and digital games – and diffusing this new-found knowledge with audiences both within the Netherlands and internationally, using diverse platforms to do so.

Digital storytelling is no longer the niche activity it was when Submarine Channel launched in 2001. What started as a marginal, small-scale creative trend has expanded to become a mainstream, worldwide presence with a global consumer base spanning age, gender and demographic divisions. Hence, in its 12 year existence, Submarine Channel has become a seminal hothouse where the cultural potential of digital media is constantly pushed, generating vital discussion around the transmedial evolution of story.
